• The boat apartment is located in the dynamic Watertoren(Watertower)harbour area near the Watertoren, a landmark building formerly used by the Rotterdam Waterworks. The district’s name is De Esch, situated in Rotterdam-Kralingen.

• One minute on foot you find a shopping centre, cafeteria, restaurant The Watertoren, Café Tom Tom, a residential area with stunning architecture, tram and water taxi stop.

• Five minutes on foot is Erasmus University, Arboretum Trompenburg, De Esch nature trail, sport fields, Rivium Business Park and idyllic walks along the Nieuwe Maas and two excellent restaurants: Fred (1 star) and In de Keuken van Floris.

• Ten minutes by car or boat is the Oude Haven (Old Harbour), a market, shops and entertainment area.
